Saturated shades of purple and pink greeted me daily. You were thriving...until that fateful evening. The cool weather arrived so quickly. I left you outside to soak up more sun-I was sure I'd remember to bring you back in. Morning came. Your bright blooms withered and color dulled. Your petals and leaves covered in an icy embrace.
